Installation

1.

To the primary input, connect the A/V source to be monitored for loss of
composite sync pulses. For audio signals, observe correct polarity on
the balanced lines.
{Audio signal phasing is indicated in the graphic below, by the + and –
symbols at the input and output points.}

2.

Connect the A/V source for alternate feed to the secondary inputs.

3.

Connect the R192’s A/V common outputs to your equipment’s inputs.

4.

Connect the unbalanced SAP input from the primary source to SAP 1,
and the input from the alternate source to SAP2.

5.

The external alarm contact closure is connected to EX AC and
ground. On alarm EX AC connects to ground.

6.

Connect 12 Volts and Common to the terminals on the rear panel.
