Next, the user just needs to click on the “Browse” button and
select the desired file. Once the file has been selected, click on
the “Validate” button.
ITEM 6: Toggle signature mode. This will toggle the
signature calculation mode between regular, enhanced old and
enhanced new. In Vali-File this is accomplished by selecting
the “CDCK” box on the main screen shown below:
Selecting this option will automatically bring up a window
prompting the user to select the signature mode desired as
shown below:
ITEM 7: Save previous signature results to file. This
option will prompt for a file name and save the signature
results to that file. This feature is not present in Vali-File since
there is a database provided and the signatures are recorded
there.
ITEM 8: Display previous signature results to file. This
option will display the last set of signatures calculated. Again,
this feature is not present in Vali-File since there is a database
provided and the signatures are recorded there.
