Not Keying Correctly:
If the Compix system is not keying properly, please verify the
following:
1. Is the Key-Out connected?
No: If the key is not visible, bypass the switcher
and feed the key directly into a video monitor. Is
the output on the monitor correct? If so, make sure
the switcher is correctly set up. The switcher’s input
may be expecting a different resolution from the
Compix system.
Yes: If the key is visible, make sure to combine the
key and video output together through a DSK or
keyer.
Yes: Call up the key signal upstream of the switcher. Is
the key visible (all graphical elements are white)?
No: Connect the Key-Out to another input on the switch-
er. Assign it to the DSK or keyer.
Video Output Has a Black Bar:
Open the Compix Controller on your Desktop. Adjust the Hori-
zontal Delay or click the [D] default button beside it.
