When new software is supplied for use with an existing
measurement arrangement, Online Pro may be able to interrogate a monitor
system that has already been configured, and download its configuration and
setups without the need to re-enter data. When software must to be
re-configured after a measurement arrangement has been changed (for
example if additional sensors or monitor systems have been added), the
configuration and setups can be edited and then uploaded to the
measurement arrangement.
Refer to Section 6.1 for instructions on defining a monitor system,
Section 6.2 to interrogate a system for its configuration, Sections 6.3 and 6.4
to configure a system, Section 6.5 to edit the configuration saved on a
Sensus Data Logger, Section 6.6 to send a configuration to the system and
Chapter 3 for details of setting up page and channel information.
6.1 Defining / Deleting a Monitor System
This allows monitor systems to be added to or deleted from your
arrangement. Each monitor system must be defined (added to) the
Note 6: Online Pro cannot be used to configure a monitor system connected via a
network. The software must interrogate the system and download the
configuration from the monitor systems network output file.
Note 7: When the monitor system is connected via a Sensus Data Logger, an
Additional Sensus Data Logger configuration is stored by the
Logger. This configuration can be accessed and edited by Online Pro and
specifies parameters to be measured, channels to be used, alarm settings
and communication details that are to be used by the Sensus Logger itself.
