Alarm Storage Function
If a smoke detector sounds an alarm due to smoke
or some source of disruption (but not due to
pressing the test button), the alarm trigger event is
stored in this smoke detector for up to 12 hours. The
stored alarm trigger event is indicated by a short
peep and a flash going off every 10 seconds. During
this period the function of the smoke detector is
not impaired. The memory can be deleted by
holding the test button until an alarm tone sounds.
Self-Diagnostic
The smoke function automatically tests for
correct function every 10 seconds.
Important:
If a fault is detected, it will constantly emit 2 short
peeps.
Testing Function
There is a test button on the front of the smoke
detector. Press the test button for about 5 seconds
until the alarm sounds. It will then stop after you
release the testing button.

If the smoke detector malfunctions, please contact
our service department.
