DESCRIPTION
TAMKO
®
PEEL‑N‑STICK Felt is a self‑adhering, asphalt saturated organic felt with a removable split release
film on the adhesive side for ease of installation.
USES
TAMKO PEEL‑N‑STICK Felt is well‑suited for use as an underlayment felt to be applied over the deck prior to
the installation of the final roof covering. It also provides secondary protection against water penetration after
installation of the roof system.
ADVANTAGES
• Self‑Adhering asphalt saturated organic felt — same gauge as No. 15.
• Adheres directly to roof deck for fast and easy installation — no cap nails or
staples needed when installed at temperatures of 35º F and above.
• Split release film eases installation and handling
• Adheres better than traditional mechanically fastened felts — for added wind
resistance and blow‑off resistance. It’s enhanced tear resistance provides a
more durable work surface for installation of the final roof covering.
• Laying lines at 4 in, 18 in, and 32 in. assist in proper alignment.
• U.L. Prepared Roofing Accessory label
LIMITATIONS
• Membrane must not be applied to damp, frosty or contaminated surfaces.
• Membrane must not come into contact with products containing coal‑tar pitch.
• Must be applied at temperatures of 35º F and higher.
