Xblue Networks X-50 User Manual
Quick start guide, Getting started

The
X-50
is very flexible and can be installed several different
ways but the best way is to connect the Wide Area Network
(WAN) port of the
X-50
and all of your
X-2020
telephones to
your existing data network; leaving the Local Area Network (LAN)
port unused.
Installing the X-50 this way will allow the system to synchronize
the time and date from the Internet and if wanted connect low cost
Internet SIP Telephone lines.

5. The Setup Wizard can be helpful but it is not critical. The X-50 will function even if
no changes are made in the Setup Wizard. All changes can be made later so when in
doubt, skip through the Setup Wizard’s questions by scrolling to the bottom of each
page and clicking on “Next”. On the last page click on “Save and reboot”. The X-50
will be back on-line when the power light stops flashing.
