SPEAKER-LEVEL CONNECTION - OPTION C
Figure 4 shows an easy way to connect your Velodyne subwoofer directly to your receiver or integrated
amplifier if it lacks line-level outputs. You may also connect your satellites directly to your receiver or amplifier
along with the subwoofer. Your receiver or amplifier will not notice the additional load of the subwoofer due to
the high input impedance.
When the subwoofer is installed in this fashion, your satellite speakers will be crossed over at 120 Hz which
removes the lower bass frequencies from your speakers, enabling them to do a better job reproducing the
higher frequencies.
