ADJUSTING THE TRIGGER STOP (JM Pro Series™)
Your JM Pro Series™ firearm is supplied with an adjustable trigger stop.
This is used to adjust the amount of trigger over-travel felt while pulling the
trigger.
Move
the safety button fully rearward to the “ON” (SAFE) position
and visually and physically check the chamber, elevator, and
magazine tube to be certain the firearm is unloaded before
disassembling the firearm. Wear eye protection during disassembly
and cleaning to protect your eyes from oil spatter or spring loaded
components.
To decrease the amount of trigger over-travel, turn the adjusting screw
clockwise. Note that if the trigger stop is turned clockwise (in) too far, the
firearm will fail to fire.
To increase the amount of trigger over-travel, turn the adjusting screw
counter-clockwise.
Be certain to check your firearm for proper functioning before firing
any live ammunition (refer to the Function Testing section of your
firearm’s owner’s manual).
