Remote control unit operations during
multi-source playback (selecting the source)
1 Set the MODE 1 switch to the “AUDIO”.
2 Set the MODE 2 switch to the “ZONE2”.
3 Press the ZONE2 ON button.
To cancel the ZONE2 mode:
Press the ZONE2 OFF button.
4 Press the FUNCTION button.
The ZONE2 source switches directly.
5 The output level of the ZONE2 SPEAKER OUT
terminals can be controlled pressing the
VOLUME button on the remote control unit.
Default setting (ZONE2 VOLUME LEVEL):
– – – dB (MINIMUM)
6 When the ZONE2 SOURCE function is set to
TUNER, the preset channel can be selected
using the
CHANNEL button on the remote
control unit.
This is only possible when the main unit in the ZONE2 mode
(
page 43).
Outputting a program source to amplifier,
etc., in a different room (ZONE2 mode)
1 Press the ZONE2/REC SELECT button to display
the “ZONE2 SOURCE” on the display.
The display switches as follows each time the button is
pressed.
2 Turn the FUNCTION knob to select the source
you want to output appears on the display.
3 Start playing the source to be output.
For operating instructions, refer to the manuals of the
respective components.
To cancel, turn the FUNCTION knob and select “SOURCE”.
REC ZONE2
4 Press the ZONE2 button.
Lights
• The signals of the source selected in the ZONE2 mode are also
output from the VCR and CDR/TAPE recording output terminals.
• Digital signals are not output to the ZONE2 output terminals.
