a) Apply power to the drive. The drive model and firmware revision should
be automatically displayed. If they are not, check that the Ethernet box
is checked and the correct Ethernet drive IP address is displayed in the
drop down box. Change to correct drive IP address if needed.
b) Follow the configuration instructions in the IQ ® stepper help screens.
The IQ ® stepper software can be used to set up your drive to operate in
several different modes including: Pulse & Direction, Analog Velocity,
IQ ® Programmer, and SCL.
c) IQ ® stepper includes a self test option (under the Drive menu) to
verify that the ITM and power supply are correctly wired and configured.
a) Download and install the IQ ® stepper software.
b) Launch the software by clicking:
Start / All Programs / Bimba / IQ ® stepper
c) Select the Ethernet port using the drop down list.
d) Connect the drive to your PC using the RJ-45 end of your CBL-EIP-M12- cable.
