5. LUCY COOK Accessories
Operating control
The Lucy Cook is equipped with an operating control on the right side of the stove. As required you can choose 
between “heating” or “cooking”. The position “heating” retains the warmth longer in the carcass, the position “cooking” 
warms up the cooking/top plate quickly and intensely.

Cooking/top plate
The model Lucy Cook is equipped with a fully functional cooking plate (= top plate) made of a special steel, which is 
coated with a special hotplate paint. You can clean the cooking plate with customary kitchen cleaners. If necessary 
you can obtain a corrective paint for the cooking plate as an aerosol, for touching up small blemishes. 
Operation with external air supply
The German institute for constructional engineering (DIBT) has given the Lucy Cook the general technical approval for 
operation with exteranl air supply. If the combustion air is being supplied directly to the furnace by an air-tight pipe including 
closing mechanism from the outside, then the stove may be used in residential property with mechanical ventilation. 
If the stove in being used like that, a multiple stove installation on the same chimney is forbidden
.
