Getting
Started
Boot from USB Flash disk
X
Connect a bootable USB Flash disk via a USB port on the
faceplate.
X
Power on the PXI-3950 and enter BIOS to modify the set-
ting of boot device as following:
Z
[Boot] » [USB Drives] » [1st Drive]
Z
[Boot] » [1st Boot Device] » [USB:XX]
X
Save the change
X
Reboot the system
NOTE:
NOTE:
If there are multiple USB external devices installed, you
will see 1st Drive, 2nd Drive and etc. Please recognize
the USB Flash disk according the model name comes
after the xth Drive on the screen and set it to 1st Drive.

“USB:XX” refers to the model name selected in last step.
