Blades
OFF-SEASON STORAGE
The following steps should be taken to prepare your
chipper-shredder-vacuum for storage.
1. Remove all dirt from exterior of engine and equip
ment.
2. Refer to engine manual for correct engine storage
instructions.
3. Wipe unit with an oiled rag to prevent rust (use a
light oil or silicone), especially if storing in an
unventilated or metal storage shed.
4. Store in a dry, clean area. Do not store next to cor
rosive materials, such as fertilizer.

25. Place the outer housing against the inner housing.
Insert two screwdrivers into the holes as shown in
figure 20. This will hold the blades in place while
attaching the outer housing. Secure with the four
teen self tapping screws that were removed in
step 12. Start all screws first before tightening.
