Trouble Possible Cause(s) Corrective Action
Engine fails to start 1. Fuel tank empt'', or stale fuel. 1. Fill tank with clean, fresh gasoline.
2. Blocked fuel lin ?. 2. Clean fuel line.
3. Spark plug wire disconnected. 3. Connect wire to spark plug.
4. Faulty spark pk g. 4. Clean, adjust gap or replace.
Engine runs erratic 1. Unit running on CHOKE. 1. Move choke lever to OFF position.
2. Spark plug wire loose. 2. Connect and tighten spark plug
wire.
3. Blocked fuel lin<5 or stale fuel. 3. Clean fuel line; fill tank with clean
fresh gasoline.
4. Water or dirt in uel system. 4. Drain fuel tank. Refill with fresh
fuel.
5. Dirty air cleanei. 5. Clean air cleaner.f
6. Carburetor out of adjustment. 6. Adjust carburetor.t
Engine overheats 1. Engine oil level low. 1. Fill crankcase with proper oil.

Will not split logs Reservoir fluid 13vel low. Check and fill reservoir tank as
instructed in Operation section
