Clean Water with the Cal Clarity™ System
This section is ONLY for spa owners with the Cal Clarity™ automatic bromine generator. If your spa does not
have a Cal Clarity™ bromine generator, you need to read the previous section, which explains the Cal Spas™
Clear Water Plan.
The following procedures explain how to keep the water in your spa clean and clear with the automatic bromine
generator. Because this is the most important chapter in this manual, we strongly recommend you read it
carefully.
Cal Clarity™ System Generator
Your Cal Clarity™ System Generator (Figure 18) will help keep your spa water always clean and clear. As a
preferred method of maintaining the chemical balance of your spa water, it is relatively low cost, virtually
maintenance-free, and extremely effective in helping you spend your time enjoying your spa.
The automatic bromide generator eliminates the need to purchase, store, and handle harsh or dangerous
chemicals and is simple to operate. It will not function with the Cal Zone Quest Ozonator™.
Use the dial to increase or decrease the level of bromine generated, or turn it all the way clockwise to turn it off.

bromine level adjustment.
