Bent or eye of needle

Bent or blunt needle
Refer to threading instructions see page No. 11
and rethread machine
Loosen tension on upper thread by turning
thread tension knob to lower number.
Always start sewing with take up lever in
highest position
Refer to needle setting instruction see page No. 8
Try a new needle
Discard all blunt or bent needles and replace
with new
Tensions too tight
Dull needle
Stitch length too
long
See tension adjustment page No. 13 & 14.
Change needle
Reduce stitch length
