together at the left under the
presser foot.

Now that you have finished
the first steps (page 1-13),
you are familiar with the con
trols on your machine and
with the accessories provided
for the machine you are ready
to start to sew with your new
sewing machine.

1. Make sure your machine
is set completely as illus
trated here.
2. Pattern selection dial to (i).
3. Upper thread tension dial
to 5.

Place fabric under the
presser foot.
