ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
FIELD WIRING INSTRUCTIONS

CONEXIONES ELECTRICAS
I. MAIN POWEi SUPPLY
THiS COOLER IS PREWIRED FOR 115 VOLT OR 230
VOLT, 60HZ POWER ONLY. MAKE SURE YOU
CONNECT YOUR COOLER TO THE CORRECT VOLTAGE.
A. Remove thf’ conirol box cover - ¡4) screws.
B. Remove 2" x 4" water tight junction box (3), junction Box
Cover (5|, switch (4) and 1/2'' chase nipple (1) and jam
nut (2) from the parts carton.
C. .Mount junction box to the cooler as follows;
1. Insert chase ) into 7/8" hole from the inside of
lire cabrnet (fi) o r| fasten it ti'ihtlv to the cooler with
the 1 /2" c onduit jam nut (2).
2. Screw the lunction box {Í) onto the thread of the chase
ttippic' (1) until tight and ali'rned letHcally.
CAUTION: Make sure the power is off to the suptaty
wires before proceeding with the next steps.
D. Connect ground wires as follows; Refer to wiring diagram
inside the control box cover.
1. Pull lh(> green ground wire liarness from the cooler
through the rha.se nipple (1).
2. Afladi the eyelet terminal of the ground wire harness
and the ground wire; from the power supfjly to the
disconnect box (3) using the # IÜ Green Ground screw
supplied.
Attach the spade let minal of the ground wii e
assembly to the switch (4) ground screw.
E. Connect Line Leads as Follows:
1. 115 Volts Coolers: Pull the black and white jumper
wires from the cooler through the chase nipple (1) into
the junction box (3j. Attadi the black jumper wire to
one screw terminal on the switch (4). Attach the hot
supply leaf! to the other screw' terminal on Ihe sw'itch.
Attach the white jumper wire from the cooler to the
white or neutral wire from the supply line using the
orange wire? nut supplirxi
2. IM) Volt Coolers: Pull the black and orange jumper
wires from the» cooler througli tlio díase nipple Í1) into
the junction box (3). Fasten the black wire' to one load
screw on the switch. Fasten the orange jurn|)i!r wire' to
the other load sc rew' ern the .switch, fasten the two
supply leads to the two line screws on fire swtirh.
F. Mount the switch (4) onto the junction box (3) with the
on position up and the ground screw on the switch
down.
G. Mount the junction box cover (5) onto the junction box
making certain that the gasket fits properly all the way
around the periphery of the junction box (3).

A. Remueva la tapadera de la casa de control - (4) tornillos.
B. Remueva la caja impermeable 2“ x 4" de empalme (3),
tapadera de caja (5), interruptor (4) Y el niple de encaje
de 1 /2" (1) el niple de encaje de 1/2" (1) contratuerca (2)
de la caja de cartón.
C. Monto id caja de empalme corno sigut':
1. Coloque el niple de encaje 11) en el agujr'ro de' 7/8" de
adentro dí4 gabinete (8} Y asegúrelo con laconiraíuerra
(

).
2. Atornille la raja de empalme í 5) en ¡a rosta de el niple
(I j hasta f|ue tjuede apretada y verficalmetilp alineada.
PRECAUCIÓN: Asegúrese que la corriente está
desconectada antes de proceder con los siguientes
pasos.
D. Conecte los alambres de tierra como sigue; Vea e!
diagrama de alambrado dentro de la tapadera de la caja
de control.
1. jale el alambre verde altravés de el niple (1),
2. Conecte la terminal de ojiilo del alambre de tierra y el
alambre de tierra de ia fuente de poder a la caja de
empalme (3) usando el tornillo verde de tierra #10
incluido. Conecte la terminal de espada del alambre
de tierra al tornüta de tierra del interruptor (4).
E. Conecte Los Alambres de La Linea de Corriente Como
Sigue:
1. Fntriadores de 11 5 Voltios; Jale los alambres de cierre
negro y el blanco del enfriador alravés del nipk' (I)
hada la caja ríe empalme (3), Conecte el alambre
negro de cierre a un tornillo de la terminal en el
inleiTupfnr (4). Conortc* el alamtirc de torrienle a el
otro tornillo en la terminal del interruptor. Conecte el
alambre de cierre blanco del enfriador al alambrt»
blanco o neutral de la ‘inca de corriente usando el
cono aislante anaranjado proveído.
2. Enfriadores de 230 Voltios; ¡ale tos alambres de cierre
negro y t;l anaranjado dd enfn.idor alravés del niple
(1) hacia la caja de empalme (3). Conecte el alambre
de ci(;rre nc.'gro a una de las tc'niinak's de carga (Load)
del interrupior. Conecte el alambre de cierre
anaranjado a 'a otra terminal de carga del interruptor.
Conecte los dos alambre.s de corriente a las terminales
marcadas supply (Fuonie) del inlcrruptor.
F. Monte el interruptor Í4} en la taja (3) con la posición de
prendido hacia arriiia v el tornillo de tierra Itacia abajo.
G. Monte la tapadera de la caja (5) asegurándose que el
empaque cierre el perifetin de la raja (3).
