7.2. Channel Detection

Step 1. Switch off the wireless microphone.

Step 2. Hold down the Channel check key for approximately 3 seconds.

Step 3. Channel search will be started, with the channel indicators moving in ascending order (1 – 6) and then

in descending order (6 – 1).

Step 4. Upon channel search completion, the idle channel indicator flashes for 10 seconds, returning the unit

to the mode it was last in before the channel search was started.
Note: Pressing the Channel check key while the idle channel indicator is flashing also returns the unit

to the mode it was last in before the channel search was started.

Step 5. Press the Channel select key to select the idle channel.

7.3. Squelch Adjustment

7.3.1. Squelch control
The WT-3800 tuner has the squelch function that silences its output in the condition that a radio signal to be
received is a certain level of signal strength. This strength level can be varied by means of the squelch control.

The wireless tuner's sensitivity is the highest and radio signals can be received in wide areas
when the control is in the "MIN" position, while the "MAX" position makes the sensitivity the
lowest, limiting signal reception only to narrow areas.

7.3.2. Squelch control setting position
• Set the control to the "MIN" position in locations free from interference.
• Set the control to the position that does not cause any reception loss of wireless microphone signals.

8. CONNECTION EXAMPLES

Be sure to connect at least two receiving antennas (one each for Channels A and B).

Note: Ensure that the supplied rod antenna is fully extended when using it.
