Hardware Installation
1. Power off the printer that will be used with the print server and leave the print
server power adapter disconnected.
2. Connect your printer to the USB port on the print server.
3. Power on your printer so it is ready for use.
4. Connect the Power Adapter to the print server - the Power LED will light up. When
the LAN indicator lights up, the print server is correctly connected to the network.
Software Installation
To configure the print server to be used from a PC or Mac, you will first need to install
the included software, outlined in the steps below.
Windows
1. Connect a Cat 5 (or better) Ethernet cable to the LAN port on the print server, then
to your router / network.
Note: Initial configuration must be done from a wired connection. Once the device
has been connected to an existing access point and set with proper IP settings for
your wireless network, the LAN cable can be disconnected.
2. From your computer that is connected to the same router/network, insert the
included CD into your CD/DVD drive.
3. Browse to the “Windows” folder and run the Setup.exe application.
