MAINTENANCE RECOMMENDATIONS
1. Recording the initial differential pressure readings is recommended to effectively
maintain a scrubber/separator. Always document initial differential during start-up
when element is clean and after two weeks when element is dirty or saturated.
Replacement filters are needed when system experiences the maximum differential
pressure levels specified by the Operator. Refer to pages 4 and 5 for guidelines
2. Always check replacement o-rings/gaskets to insure they are seated uniformly along
the flanges during installation. If o-rings/gaskets do not seat properly or are
damaged, please contact Solberg Manufacturing, Inc. immediately
3. Always check inlets/outlet connections, sealing surfaces and hardware when
replacing the element to insure cleanliness. Wipe clean if necessary
4. Always ensure vane/demister pack is aligned and installed correctly within mounting
basket
5. Operate only when a proper seal exists
6. Never operate without absolute assurance that fasteners have been tightened to the
specified torque rating
