5 .3 assembling the Pistol
1. Verify the pistol is clear of all foreign matter.
2. Insert the barrel into the slide from the front.
3. Insert the recoil spring plug.
4. Insert the recoil spring guide assembly into the slide.
5. Guide the slide onto the frame rails from the front.
6. Partially insert the slide stop lever into the frame. Align the take down notch on
the slide with the top of the slide stop lever and press the slide stop lever into place.
