4. guide the slide onto the frame rails from the front.
5. insert the slide catch lever in until is stops on the slide.
6. retract the slide until the tab on the slide catch lever aligns with take down
notch on the slide.
7. Push the slide catch lever in the remaining distance and allow the slide to move
forward in a controlled fashion.
8. Press the decocking lever down. (not applicable on dao pistols)
