Retracting the Awning
1. Insert the hook end of the crank handle into the eye bolt on the drive head (Fig. 6).
2. Turn the crank handle in a clockwise direction until the awning is fully retracted (Figs. 7 and 8).
NOTE: Keeping handle even with the roller tube makes it easier to turn.
3. Locate the locking latch (Fig. 9) (if equipped) on the drive side awning arm. Lock the latch to secure the
awning in place (Fig. 10).
NOTE: This latch is optional and may not be installed. If not installed, awning is secured and ready for
transportation.
