E Voice Memo
Use the camera’s built-in microphone to record voice memos for pictures.
Recording Voice Memos

Tap the
d tab in full-frame playback
mode and tap E.
• The screen for recording voice memos is
displayed.

Tap W to record a voice memo.
• A voice memo of up to 20 seconds can be
recorded.
• Do not touch the built-in microphone during
recording.
• To exit without recording voice memos, tap
J.
• During recording, o blinks in the monitor.
• When S is tapped during recording,
recording ends.
• When recording ends, the voice memo
playback screen is displayed. Follow the
instructions in step 2 of “Playing Voice
Memos” (
E 72) to play the voice memo.
