INSTALLATION MODE “B”
MODE B is used for vehicles with single wire locking systems that are often called “Data Bus” or “Multi-Plex”
vehicles. These vehicles include many late model Dodge/Chrysler Vehicles, 2003 GM Truck, SUV’s, and 1996-
2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and others.
This mode must be programmed using option #16 in the Program Option Section. The Green/White and Brown
wires are NOT used in this mode. Instead, the system “learns” the vehicle’s unlock and lock timing. This mode
ONLY requires connection of the Yellow/Black and Blue/Black for arm/disarm sensing. The system will not Arm
or Disarm when pressing the factory lock switches. See steps & diagram below for Mode “B”.

Learning the factory Unlock Sequence FIRST!:
1. Turn Ignition on. Press Program switch 9 times.
2. Turn Ignition off, unit chirps twice
3. Press factory alarm remote Lock button (CS-883
LED on solid)
4. Press factory Unlock button when LED starts
flashing.
5. Wait 4-Seconds until unit chirps twice.
6. Turn Ignition on to exit Program Mode.
Learning the factory Lock Sequence SECOND!:
1. Turn Ignition on. Press Program switch 8 times
2. Turn Ignition off (unit chirps once)
3. Press factory UNLOCK button (CS-883 LED turns
on solid)
4. Press factory Lock button when LED starts
flashing.
5. Wait 4 seconds and unit will chirp once.
6. Turn Ignition on to exit Program Mode.
