The HERO camera powers up with the following default settings:

720p60 SuperView, Auto Low Light
Photo

Burst
10 photos in 2 seconds (5 fps)
Time Lapse
0.5 seconds

Your HERO features a status screen on the front of the camera.
CAMERA STATUS SCREEN
The camera status screen displays the following information about
modes and settings:
1. Camera Modes/FOV
(field of view)
2. Spot Meter
(when Spot Meter is turned on)
3. Resolution/fps
(frames per second)
4. Time Lapse Interval Setting
(not shown)
5. Counter
6. Time/Storage/Files
7. Battery Life
Note: The icons that appear on the camera status screen vary by mode.
