SETTING BtIZæR MELODIES
You can set 4 different melodies for both alarm 1 or 2. The buzzer
melodies are set at a fixed volume and cannot be adjusted.
1.
Press and hold down the selected
ALM 1 or 2 button and set
your alarm time using the r« or controls.
2.
Before releasing ALM 1 or 2 press the
BUZZER button.
— The display will show the buzzer icon

Hold down
BUZZER and press r« or »i repeatedly until you
find the desired melody.
- The buzzer melody and alarm number will be shown and
the buzzer melody played as long as you press
BUZZER
4.
To review your selected buzzer melody over the speakers,
press
BUZZER.

THE ALARM
There are three ways to switch off the alarm. Unless you cancel
the alarm completely, the
24 HR RESET will be automatically
selected after 59 minutes, from the time your alarm goes first off.
24 hours reset
If you want the alarm mode to be stopped immediately but also
wish to retain the same alarm setting for the following day:
1.
Press
24 HR RESET
— You will hear a long beep tone to confirm that the
24 HR
RESET has been activated.

/REPEATAURM
This will repeat your alarm call at 9 minutes intervals.
1.
During the alarm call, press
day
/REPEAT ALARM.
— After 9 minutes the alarm will call again.
2.
You can press
day
/REPEAT ALARM again as often as
desired.
— The icon of your selected alarm J] , O or © and ' ’ ' in
the display will flash throughout the time when
day
/REPEAT ALARM is active.
NOTES:

/REPEAT ALARM in TRACK SELECT and CD mode
In standby mode:
- At the set alarm time the normal clock display ¡standby
mode) is interrupted.
^ The CD indicator ^| , ' c a p p e a r ,
flashes briefly in the display followed by the total number
of tracks and the current track number.
- When
oay
/REPEAT ALARM is pressed, the position of the
TRACK SELECT / CD track is memorized and playback stops.
The set goes to standby mode.
After 9 minutes, the TRACK SELECT / CD track will
resume playback at the point interrupted by
day
/REPEAT
ALARM.
- To cancel the
oay
/REPEAT ALARM and return to normal CD
playback, press the
PLAY ► button.
During RADIO / CD playback:
Basically the same happens, except that the TRACK SELECT /
first CD track starts from the beginning each time you press
day
/REPEAT ALARM. If you are playing a CD, the current
track will be interrupted at the alarm time and the track
position memorized. Playback from this position will resume
when
day
/REPEAT ALARM is pressed.
Cancelling tbe alarm completely
• To cancel the set alarm time before it goes off, or during the
alarm call, press the activated
ALM 1 or 2 button and ■ OFF
simultaneously.
- The alarm indicator will disappear from the display.
WEEKEND SLEEPER
This feature deactivates the alarm every Saturday and Sunday and
resumes the alarm function Monday to Friday. You must set the
day first (see chapter: SETTING THE DAY).
/. Press
day
/REPEAT ALARM once.
-* The display will show the set alarm time.

Select the alarm you wish to deactivate by pressing the
ALM
1 or 2 button. Within the 5 seconds the display shows the set
alarm time, briefly press the
WEEKEND SLEEPER once.
— If the weekend sleeper is activated,
zz will appear in the
display for
ALARM 1 or 2.
3.
To cancel the weekend sleeper function, repeat steps 1 and 2
until
zz no longer appears in the display.
