...your sales receipt and other material proving proof-of-
purchase. Attach it to this owner's manual and keep it
nearby. Please also keep the original box and packing
material should you ever need to ship your player to
Philips for service.
One (1) Year Coverage...
...starts from the date you bought your accessory. Your
Accessory rvill be replaced rvith a new or renewed product
(whichever is deemed necessary) if it becomes defective or
inoperative. This is done free of charge. Replacements
products are warranted for the remainder of the original
warranty.
After one year, you must pay for all labor, parts,
transportation, and service charges.
Who is Protected? ... Where?
Only the person who has proof-of-purchase rvill receive
warranty service. This service rvill be provided to any
player bought and used in the U.S.A., Puerto Rico, the
Virgin Islands, and Canada. If you move within these
areas you must ship yoirr player to the designated Philips
Factory Service Center listed in this warranty.
Before Calling for Service...
...please check your owner’s manual. A check of the
controls discussed there may save you a service call.
How To Get Warranty Service:
If warranty service is rMirired, the accessory must be
shipped postage prepaid, itrsured, and with proof-of-
purchase to the Philips Factory Service Center listed below.
When repair is completed, PCEC will ship the urrit back to
you.
IN THE U5.A., PUERTO RICO, OR THE VIRGIN
ISLANDS, ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING
IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITi' AND
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED
IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS
WARRANTY. Some states do not allow lirrtitations on how
long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may
not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may
have other rights which vary from state to state.
