receiver, etc.), the following functions can be oper

ated by remote control;

PLAY/BEPLAY, PAUSE, STOP/CP. PREV TRACK/

CD Synchro

When using this set in a system with a cassette deck,

suitable for CD Synchro, the CD player transmits
digital control messages to the cassette deck via the
REMOTE IN socket ©.

The system ensures recording synchronization,

provided that also the REMOTE (or RC-5 or CD
SYNCHRO) socket of the cassette deck is connect
ed to the system.
In CD Synchro mode, the cassette deck starts to
record, when the CD starts to play.

The system even covers re-starting in synchronism

after auto reverse, when your cassette deck has an
auto reverse recording mode.

REMARK: CD SYNCHRO works only with a few
types of HIFI Systems.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Maintenance

The disc

If you handle the discs carefully, cleaning will not be
necessary. Dust or dirt can be removed using a soft,
lint-free cloth. Always wipe the cloth in a straight line

from the centre to the edge of the disc (Rg. 4).

Never use cleaning agents such as are used for

conventional grammophone records.
Neverwrite on the disc label or on a sticker which has
been placed on the label. This can cause irreparable
damage to the music tracks.

The player

Never oil or lubrioate the CD mechanism. Keep the
CD compartment free of dust. The CD tray should

therefore never be left open unnecessarily.

This unit complies with the radio interference require

ments as laid down in EC regulations.
