4.) Set the HOLD switch on your iPod ® to the ‘Off’ position to unlock the iPod ®
click-wheel controls.
5.) Place your iPod ® into the adapter in the docking station and make sure that
the iPod ® connector is fully inserted into the socket on the bottom of the
iPod ® .
If the iPod ® is not fully connected the sound may be intermittent or you may
hear no sound at all.
6.) Turn the ON/OFF-VOLUME control clockwise to turn the unit ‘On’. The
POWER ‘On’ LED indicator comes on.
7.) Set the Band/Function selector to the AUX/iPod position. Your iPod ® should
turn ‘On’. It may begin playing immediately or it may show the Main Menu
display.
8.) Use the click-wheel navigation controls on your iPod to select the desired
music and then press the iPod ® Play/Pause button to begin playback if
necessary.
9.) Adjust the ON/OFF-VOLUME control on the front panel of the radio to the
desired level. The click-wheel volume control on the iPod ® is disabled while
the iPod ® is in the docking station.
10.) When you are finished listening, turn the ON/OFF-VOLUME control fully
counter-clockwise to turn the unit ‘Off’. The iPod ® will stop playback and enter
the ‘Charging’ mode.
