Press the POWER/STANDBY
button ❶ to turn the unit on; the
Standby indicator will go out and
the main display will light. Press
the CD Function button ❷; “CD”
appears in the display.

If you load one or two discs in the player it will play one or both discs and then stop. This is the Default Play
Mode. Both Disc icons will appear in the display and the icon of the playing disc will flash.
You can also select other Play Modes by pressing the DISC SELECT button as follows:

1st Press: Disc 1 will play one time. The disc 1 icon flashes and the disc 2 icon disappears.

2nd Press: Disc 2 will play one time. The disc 2 icon flashes and the disc 1 icon disappears.
3rd Press: Disc 1 and Disc 2 will play continuously. Both icons appear with the arrow symbol, and the icon
of the playing disc will flash.

4th Press: Return to default Play Mode. Both discs play one time and then playback stops.
Note: The CD player always returns to the default play mode if the power is switched ‘Off’ or if you switch
from CD mode to Tuner mode.

To stop playback before the disc
ends, press the STOP/BAND (■)
button. The disc will stop and the
display will show the total number of
tracks and playing time on the disc.

Adjust the PRESET EQ button ❶
and VOLUME buttons ❷ as
desired. Playback will continue
until all the tracks on the disc
have been played.

Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the CD door. Remove the two
“Dummy CD” display cards from the CD players and dispose of them.
IMPORTANT: These cards must be removed before loading your own CDs.
Insert one or two CDs in the player with the printed label sides facing up.
Gently press downward near the center hole of each disk to make sure that it
is properly ‘seated’ on the spindle. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button again to
close the CD door.
Track “00” and Time “00:00” will flash momentarily as the player reads the disc
or discs and then playback will begin automatically. The display will show the
track number and the elapsed time of the track being played.
