Press (• wx ) to fintj the local weather channel.
Adjust SQUELCH to set the scan threshold. When you are
monitoring a single channel in Manual mode, adjust
SQUELCH to eliminate the background “rushing” noise
beard in the absence of an incoming signal.
Turn VOLUME clockwise to turn the scanner on to increase
the volume. Turn counterclockwise to decrease the volume
or turn the scanner off.
