Disconnect the power supply unit from the

mains before cleaning and assembling the

appliance, if a fault occurs or if the appliance

is not used for a prolonged period. Do not pull

the cord over sharp edges or hot surfaces.

Keep children away from the appliance.

Supervise children to prevent them from playing

with the appliance.

Do not allow persons (also children) with restric­

ted physical sensory perception or mental
abilities or with lack of experience and know­

ledge to operate the appliance unless they are

supervised or have been instructed in the use of
the appliance by somebody who is responsible
for their safety.

Protect batteries from heat and fire.

/f\ Risk of fire!

Charge the base unit in the supplied charging

station and with the associated power supply

unit only.

Do not cover the power supply unit.
Remove highly combustible objects.

/t\ Risk of injury!

Do not use the hand blender with damp hands

and do not operate it at no load.
Operate the hand blender with original
accessories only. Caution when processing hot

liquids. Liquids may splash during processing.

If the appliance is used incorrectly, liquid may

leak out of the battery in the base unit. Avoid

touching the liquid.

Do not immerse the appliance in liquid above

the blender foot-base unit connection point.

/t\ Risk of injury from sharp blades/

rotating drive

Never grip the blade on the blender foot.
Never clean the blender blade with just your

hands. Use a brush.

Important!
Do not attaoh or remove the blender foot until

the applianoe is at a standstill.

Overload protection

If the motor switches itself off while the

appliance is being used, the overload protection
feature has been activated. Possible causes:

-

the food has jammed the blender blade,

-

too much pressure exerted on the food

during the cutting process.

Eliminate the cause and switch on the appliance

again.

can be placed on a flat

surface (Fig. 3a) or mounted on a wall (Fig. 3b).

To mount the charging station on a wall

(installation materials supplied as standard):

Pull the installation plate down and out of the

charging station and attach to the wall with
2 screws.

Insert the charging station from above onto

the installation plate.

Charging the base unit

/t\ Attention!

Do not use any other oharger.

The Li ion battery proteoted against total

disoharge. If the applianoe is switohed on with

a disoharged battery, the applianoe is switohed

off by a proteotive oirouit.

The LED Q flashes.

Following automatio disoonneotion, stop

pressing the On button O. The battery may

be damaged.

Important information

Before using the appliance for the

first time, fully charge the base unit

(approx. 2 hours). The base unit may
become warm during the charging
process.

When the appliance has been inserted, the LED

comes on. The battery is automatically tested.

The battery charge status is displayed by the

LED.
