This appliance is designed for processing
normal household quantities in the home or
similar quantities in non-industrial applications.
Non-industrial applications include e.g. use
in employee kitchens in shops, offices, agri
cultural and other commercial businesses,
as well as use by guests in boarding houses,
small hotels and similar dwellings.
Use the appliance for processing normal
amounts of food for the household.
The appliance is maintenance-free.
These operating instructions refer to various
models. Differences are indicated.

place. If passing on the appliance to a third
party, always include the operating instructions.

1 Rotary knob with stop plate
Set slicing width (0 to 15 mm).
2 Start lock-out
Press before switching on.
Prevents the appliance from being
unintentionally switched on.

Set lower speed, e.g. for slicing cheese.

Guide the food which is to be sliced against
the blade.
8 Slide
Lock the carriage in the end position:
Slide on the left.
Move the carriage: Slide on the right.
9 Base
Supports the carriage.
10 “Sausage end” holder
Cuts residual pieces safely.
11 Serving tray
Catch and serve sliced food.
12 Cord store
Stow cord.

Safety information

Connect and operate the appliance only in accor
dance with the specifications on the rating plate.
Do NOT use if the cord or appliance is damaged.
Keep children away from the appliance.
Supervise children to prevent them from playing
with the appliance.
Do not allow persons (also children) with
restricted physical sensory perception or mental
abilities or with lack of experience and know
ledge to operate the appliance unless they are
supervised or have been instructed in the use of
the appliance by somebody who is responsible
for their safety.
Always pull out the mains plug after using
the appliance, before cleaning the appliance,
before leaving the room or if a fault occurs.
Do not place the power cord over sharp edges
or hot surfaces.
To prevent injury, repairs such as replacing
a damaged cord, should only be carried out
by customer service.
If the power supply is interrupted, the appliance
remains switched ON and will start running
again when the power supply is restored.
Make out-of-service appliances unusable.
Never use the all-purpose slicer without
the carriage and “sausage end” holder.
Operating the appliance
Before using the appliance for the first time,
clean thoroughly.
Preparation

Place the appliance on a smooth, clean
surface.
Only MAS95..:
Pull out cable (12) (automatic cable retractor)

Pull out the cord in one go to the required
length and slowly release; the cord is locked.
•
Reducing the cord length: Pull gently on the
cord and allow it to roll up to the required
length. Then gently pull the cord again and
slowly release.
