DISC (-/+)

CD TEXT Data Display

(CD TEXT compatible data only)

The CD TEXT data including the disc title, track title and performer

name in a CD can be displayed.

The CD TEXT indicator lights up when a CD containing CD TEXT data

is played.

Some discs may not have the performer name data.
Even when a disc without the CD TEXT compatibility is played, the
disc title is displayed provided that it has been input previously.

When a disc played does not have a disc title input for it, the disc

title display becomes as shown below.

Note!!

A very long title or performer name (more than about!000 characters)

may not be displayed completely.

Once the disc title of a CD TEXT disc is shown, the top 8 characters are automatically stored in memory.Even when another title has been stored, it is automatically overwritten by the new CD TEXT disc title.Tip:If the CD TEXT disc title begins with a space character, it will not be overwritten. Therefore, if you do not want a title to be overwritten, insert a space character as the first character.When you want to overwrite a title beginning with a space character, simply remove the space
