Setting Drying
Times
Modem dryers are designed with
drying tennperatures needed to safeiy
handle modern tabrics, Cooidown
times have been added to heat set
tings. You might notice slightly longer
drying times.
The time it takes to dry a load
depends on:
•
The kind of fabric, its weight, and the
size of the ioad
A large load of jeans
will take a lot longer to dry than a smal
bad of lighf synthetics
•
The amount of moisture in the ioad.
Towels hold a lot of moisture; synthetics
don t. Synthetics dry faster.
•
Temperature of the rinse water
Cold
rinses cause less wrinkling and help save
energy, but a cold load will take slightly
longer to dn/ than a warm one.
•
Amount of tint on the screen
A full lint
screen slows the air flow and can make
drying time longer.
•
Room temperature.
The dryer heats
room air. If the room temperature is not
above 45 F (7.2 C], drying time wil
be longer and removal of wrinkles may
be poor.
•
Proper instaiiation and exhaust sys
tems.
For the fastest possible dn/ing
time, installing and exhausting your
dn/er properly is important. See installa
tion instructions

damage to some fabrics and
static cling.
