1. Before calling for assistance ...

Is the power cord plugged in?

Is lint screen clogged with lint?

Is exhaust duct or outside exhaust hood cloggecl with lint?

Have you blown a fuse or tripped the circuit breaker?

If you need more help, check the chart below.

PROBLEM

CHECK THE FOL .OWING

Dryer will not run

Is the power cord firmly plugged into i live circuit with proper

voltage?

Has a household fuse blown or circui breaker tripped? Has a

time-delay fuse been used?

Is the dryer door firmly closed?
Did you firmly push the Start Button?

Are the controls set in an ON position ?

Dryer will not heat

Is the cycle in the last few minutes? ( There is no heat during that

time.)

Has a household fuse blown or circuil breaker tripped? Has a

time-delay fuse been used?

If you have a gas dryer, are the valve » open on both the dryer and

the supply line?

Drying time too long

Is your lint screen clean? (See the “Slow drying" section of the

table on page 20 for additional inforrr iJtion.)

Is your exhaust duct or outside exhaust hood clogged with lint?
