Seat belts, floor mats, dust and pollen filter – Acura 2005 TSX - Owner's Manual User Manual
Page 224
Dirt build-up in the loops of the seat
belt anchors can cause the belts to
retract slowly. Wipe the insides of
the loops with a clean cloth
dampened in mild soap and warm
water or isopropyl alcohol.
If you use aftermarket floor mats
make sure they fit properly and that
they can be used with the floor mat
anchors. Do not put additional floor
mats on top of the anchored mats.
This filter removes the dust and
pollen that is brought in from the
outside through the heating and
cooling system/climate control
system.
Clean dirty seat belts with a soft
brush and a mixture of mild soap and
warm water. Do not use bleach, dye,
or cleaning solvents that can weaken
the belt material. Let the belts air
dry before you use the vehicle.
The driver’s floor mat that came
with your vehicle hook over the floor
mat anchors. This keeps the floor
mats from sliding forward and
possibly interfering with the pedals.
If you remove the floor mats, make
sure to re-anchor them when you put
them back in your vehicle.
Have your Acura dealer replace this
filter every 30,000 miles (48,000 km)
under normal conditions. It should
be replaced every 15,000 miles
(24,000 km) if you drive primarily in
urban areas that have high
concentrations of soot in the air, or if
the airflow from the climate control
system becomes less than usual.
