DOKuStar Validation for Ascent Capture - User Manual Introduction • 5
The registering of a DOKuStar Validation station in Ascent Capture will be done in 4 steps:
Step 1
Start the Ascent Capture Administration module. Select
Custom Module Manager from the Tools
menu. The Custom Module Manager dialog box appears. Click the Add button.
Step 2
A File Select Box appears. Select and open the custom module registration file (*.acm) of the desired
DOKuStar Validation station.
Step 3
The opened custom module appears in the Custom Modules window. Select DokuStar Validation from the
list in the Custom Modules window and click on Install button. A
Registration complete message will
appear.
Step 4
Close the Custom Modules window. You will see the registered module in the window of the
Custom
Module Manager .
Repeat Step 1 until Step 4 for each DOKuStar Validation station you want to register.
On finish, close all open dialog boxes. DOKuStar Validation for Ascent Capture is now ready for use.
If you create a new batch class using the Ascent Capture Administration module, you will see the
stations of DOKuStar Validation for Ascent Capture as available queues for your new batch class.
To unregister a station of DOKuStar Validation for Ascent Capture, again use the Custom Module
Manager . Select the desired station of DOKuStar Validation in the Custom Module Manager
window and press the Remove button.
Note: If a station of DOKuStar Validation for Ascent Capture has already been assigned to an Ascent
Capture batch class, first remove the module from the window
Selected Queues ( Administration /
Batch Class Properties ).
