Overview
Using DOKuStar Validation for Ascent Capture
DOKuStar Validation for Ascent Capture can be used together or instead of the modules Ascent Capture
Validation and Verification respectively. DOKuStar Validation for Ascent Capture offers more features than
Ascent Capture verify modules and offers standardized user interfaces for programming (VBA scripting)
and describing classes of input data objects (XML).
The DOKuStar Validation for Ascent Capture module can be placed in every batch class, following the
scan-queue and preceding the release-queue. DOKuStar Validation for Ascent Capture requires no special
parameterization.
DOKuStar Validation Scripting Interface
The VBA scripting interface of DOKuStar Validation for Ascent Capture (administrator mode) is integrated
in the
Administration module of Ascent Capture. To open the scripting interface, you have to select a
batch class in the Ascent Capture Administration module first.
Click on the batch class with the right mouse button. In the appearing context menu you will see the named
commands
DOKuStar Validation Scripting... of the registered DOKuStar Validation station(s).
