Section 1 Introduction
Enviro™ Bench Scales are stand-alone scale bases that may be used with any compatible Hardy
Instruments Weighing Controller / indicator, including the Hardy Enviro™ Series Checkweigher.
They are constructed of stainless steel and are designed to be used in a rugged and sanitary check
weighing application. The load cells are made from either aluminum or stainless steel. This
manual contains information on all Enviro™ bases to date.

Assembly:
1. The Bench Scale is shipped fully assembled. Inspect the packing and the Bench Scale for
shipping damage, be sure to remove any packing material from the Bench Scale.
Note: The load cell cable is shipped with the ends of the wires "tinned." DO NOT
lengthen or shorten the load cell cable as this may void any warranties.
2. Wire the load cell cable to the indicator per the following wire lists.
