Setting a condition for synchronized
recording
This unit ¿uitomatically delects track intervals when recording is
niiide in track-synchroni/.ed recording mode, multi-synchroni/.ed
recording mode, or all-synchroni/ed recording mode. Yon can set
the condition for detecting track intervals. Setting items are as
follows.

1 ■ Press MENU while this unit is in the stop mode.

remote control) to select “Synchro Setup”.

OPT TH Level
Seis the signal level that judges the signals input through the
[)1GITAL IN (OPTICAL) jack as “no signal”.
Initial setting: -SOdB. Control range: -90 to -2()dB
COAX TH Level
Sets the signal level that judges the signals input through the
DIGITAL IN (COAXIAL) jack as “no signal”.
Initial setting: -SOdB. Control rtinge: -90 to -20dB
ANLG TH Level
Sels the signal level that judges the signals input through the
ANALOG LINE IN (REC) jacks as “no signal”.
Initial setting: ^OdB, Control rtinge: -60 lo -2()dB
Int. Time
Sets the length of silence (“no signal”) that judges track intervals.
When the set amount of silence continues, this unit judges it as a
track interval and places a track marker.
Initial setting: 2.0 seconds, Control range: 0..6 to 5.0 seconds
End Duration
Sets the length of silence (“no signal") that judges the end of
playback when recording iit the alLsynchronized recording mode.
When the set amount of silence continues, recording will be
stopped.
Initial setting: 12.0 seconds. Control range: 2.0 to 60.0 seconds
Memo
• If you set a TH (threshold) level, a signal less than the specified
TH level is not input throtigh the jack (considered as “no signal").
• Settings for “Int. Time” and “End Duration” apply to each input
jack.
5i Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote
control) to confirm the setting item.
If “OPT TH Level”. “COAX TH Level” or “ANLG TH Level”
is confirmed, tollow the “When OPTTH Level, COAX TH
Level, or ANLG TH Level is selected” procedure below.
If “Int. Time” or “End Duration" is confirmed, follow the
“When Int. Time or End Duration is selected” procedure belowt
(When OPTTH Level, COAXTH Level, or ANLGTH Level
is selected)
6a Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (press +/-,

or ▼ on the
remote control) to adjust the level.
Level can be set by IdB step.
Example: To set “ANLG TH Level”

control) to confirm the level.

control) to set an interval.
Setting item selection appears on the display.
Press MENU twice to close the menu and return to the normal stop
mode.
