PARTS YOU WILL NEED:
1. Right Side Leg 1. Drill
2. Left Side Leg 2. #2 Robertson (Square)
3. Long Stringer or Phillips bit.
4. Short Stringer
5. Seat
6. Back
7. Screws (12 - 2½”, 6 - 2")
Step 5: Hold the bottom of back towards back legs and attach the back from bottom of the
seat using two 2". Repeat on other side.

Step 1: Begin by taking the right side leg (1) and lining up the long stringer (3) to the scribe
line. Attach the stringer using two 2½" screws. The stringer is tapered so the front of the
chair will be wider than the back. Repeat with the left side leg (2).
Step 2: Next take the small stringer (4), line the height up with the side cross pieces and
screw it into place using four 2½" screws.
Step 3: Set the seat (5) on the frame and push toward the back. Attach with two 2½" screws
per side as shown in picture.
Step 4: Set the back (6) in place so the brace is resting on the back legs. Make sure bottom
brace is in line with the rest of the seat slats. Attach back using two 2" screws to the top of
back legs.
