[ s s s s s ] key
Use to control playback and pause.
[ å ], [ ∂ ] keys
Use to perform track selection. Press
continuously to enable fast-forward and fast-
backward.
[SHUFFLE] key
Use to switch the shuffle mode, in the order
Song Shuffle
➜ All Shuffle ➜ Shuffle OFF.
The default value is Shuffle OFF.
When enabled, this function performs playback
of tracks in random order, regardless of the
order in which they are recorded.
Note:
• The title display (*) shows, from top level down,
the SONG title, ARTIST name, and ALBUM title.
Press the operation display to scroll the SONG
title.

Notes:
*1 Displays status of Repeat, Shuffle play.

*2 When operation display is touched, the display
changes to show remaining playing time of
current track; when pressed again the display
returns to the normal play time display.
Selecting tracks by switching
menus
1. Touch the iPod main menu’s [BROWSE] key
to display the BROWSE menu.
2. Touch the desired item key to display the
corresponding list.
3. Touch the desired track name to select.
• The display contents will differ depending
on the item key selected (ARTISTS,
ALBUMS, SONGS, GENRES,
COMPOSERS). The following is one
example:
If [ARTISTS] key is touched:
➜ ARTISTS list is displayed
Touch desired artist name
➜ ALBUMS for that artist are displayed
Touch desired album name
➜ SONGS on that album are displayed
Then touch the desired SONG title to select.
• When you return to the iPod main menu after
selecting a track, the [BROWSE] key icon will
turn to orange. If you touch the [BROWSE]
key again in this condition, the song title list
will be displayed directly.
• At a list display menu, touching the [ Å ] key
will cause the display to go back one menu.
Touching the [ z ] key will cause the next
menu to appear. Press the [ w ] key to return
to the original menu.
• Touching the [ESC] key will cause the display
to return to the iPod main menu.
• Characters displayable on this unit include the
following (in Unicode format).
[] (space), !, ", #, $, %, &, ', (, ), *, +, ,, -, ., /, 0,
1 to 9, :, ;, <, =, >, ?, @, A to Z, ], ^, _, `, a to z,
{, |, }, ~
• Attempting to input characters other than the
above, or any format other than Unicode, will
result in the display of question marks

Selecting Tracks from a Play List
1. Touch the [PLAY LIST] key at the iPod main
menu to display the play list menu.
2. Touch a desired play list name on the play
list menu to display the corresponding list of
tracks.
3. Touch the desired track name on the list to
select.
Note:
• The titles on the list menu do not scroll.
