INSTAllINg SublIJET IQ cARTRIDgES:
Rub chip with an eraser to determine
stability of attachment to cartridge.
Note: Use only a
pencil eraser to rub
chip surface to avoid
damaging chip.
1.
Check the product package to ensure that the chip
remains attached to the cartridge itself and has not
dislodged in the plastic bag.
2.
Determine if the chip is securely attached by tapping
the cartridge a few times on a hard surface, watching
to ascertain that the jolt does not dislodge the chip.
3.
Once the cartridge is removed from the bag, rub an
eraser over the surface of the chip, to determine if it
remains stationary within it’s mounting slot. Use of
any item other than an eraser is not advised and can
damage the chip. (See photo @ far right.)
