Indoor Comfort Level Station

Quick setup manual

Introduction
The Indoor Comfort Level Station is an ideal measuring instrument
for checking room ambient conditions.
Checking indoor temperature and humidity can help achieve a
comfortable and healthy living environment and may even save
you heating costs.

Features:

• Digital

time

Indoor temperature (°F or °C)

Indoor relative humidity (%RH)

Minimum and Maximum temperature and humidity
records.

Comfort level icon (smiley face) for humidity levels
between 40% - 60%RH.

Display large temperature or large humidity with the
touch of a button.

Wall hanging or free standing.

Temperature range: -4° F to 122° F (-20° C to 50° C).

“Lo” icon when temperature is below -4°F (-20°).

Humidity range 20% to 99% RH.

CR 2032 button cell battery included.



Set up:

Remove the stand (E) from the back of the station by
carefully pulling it downwards.

Open the battery compartment (F) by turning the lid with
a coin counter clockwise.

Remove the insulation strip from the battery.

Close the battery compartment again.

All LCD segments will light up for about a few seconds.

The unit is now ready to use.

The upper display shows the time and the comfort level,
the middle display shows the current temperature and
the lower display the relative humidity


Buttons:
A: SET button
B: SWITCH button
C: MAX/MIN button




Housing:
D: Wall mounting hole
E: Removable stand
F: Battery compartment

Display with removable stand.


Set Time:
Press and hold SET button for 3 seconds, to enter the time set
mode.

HOUR: The Hour digit is flashing. Press and release the
SWITCH button to adjust the Hours. Be sure to AM or
PM is showing as appropriate.

MINUTES: Press and release the SET button again the
Minutes digit is flashing. Press and release the SWITCH
button to adjust the minutes. Hold the SWITCH button to
change the Minutes quickly.

CONFIRM: Press and release the SET button to confirm
the time and return to a normal display.

Fahrenheit or Celsius:

Press and release the SET button to change between
°C (Celsius) or °F (Fahrenheit) as temperature
unit in normal mode.
NOTE: With Fahrenheit as temperature unit, the clock
automatically switches to the 12 HR system (PM
appears on the display after noon).


Comfort Level Icon:

When the humidity is between 40% and 60% a smiling
face icon will display in the upper right corner of the
station to indicate the comfort level of indoor climate.



MAX/MIN Values:

VIEW: Press and release the MAX/MIN button. MAX
appears on the display. The maximum temperature and
humidity are displayed. Press and release the MAX/MIN
button again. MIN appears on the display. The minimum

temperature and humidity are displayed. Press
MAX/MIN button again to return to normal mode.



RESET: Press and release the MAX/MIN button to show
MAX or MIN. Hold the SET button in the respective
mode to clear the recorded MAX/MIN reading. The
temperature and humidity will appear as: --.- °F and --.-
% on the display.


Display options:

Press and release the SWITCH button, to choose
between the large-scale display of temperature or
humidity.

Positioning and mounting:

With the removable stand the instrument can be placed
onto any flat surface or wall mounted at the desired
location by the wall mounting hole at the back of the
unit.


Battery replacement:
Change the battery CR 2032 button cell when the battery symbol
appears on the display

Remove the stand (E) from the back of the station by
carefully pulling it downwards.

Open the battery compartment (F) by turning the lid with
a coin counter clockwise.

Remove the old battery and install a fresh CR 2032
battery. Observe correct polarity (+ facing up).

Close the battery compartment again.


Low batteries should be changed soon to avoid the damage
resulting from a leaking battery.

Attention:

If you notice that the LCD appears faint or is not working properly,
try a fresh battery before contacting customer support.
We recommend that you replace the batteries in all units regularly
to ensure optimum accuracy of this unit.
