Christie Digital Systems Projectors
Native Widescreen Projector Offers
Ideal Display for 16:9 and XGA Images
Christie's LW40U is the new benchmark for native widescreen
displays and the ultimate in video presentation.
With a true 16:9 aspect ratio and the visual power of 4000 lumens,
the LW40U displays native HD content in its purest form and expands
the capability of your presentations. Images have the “impact” factor
of widescreen format without compromising image area or screen
brightness.
The native WXGA panel provides 44% more pixels on the screen
than an XGA resolution projector displaying 16:9 content. When
displaying computer or data presentations, the image can be
centered on the screen in pixel-perfect XGA (1024x768) mode
without changing the zoom lens or cropping the image mode.
The latest 3D digital video processing produces sharp video images
from analog and digital sources. A 90% brightness uniformity and a
900:1 contract ratio take your images to a higher level of presentation.
The dual lamp design gives you the confidence of guaranteed
performance. The LW40U provides the option of projecting the full
4000 ANSI lumens for bright, large screen images or 2,400 ANSI lumens
in single-lamp mode, to extend the life of the lamp.
Feature-rich and supported by a full suite of optional lenses and
accessories for the ultimate presentation flexibility and control, the
LW40U is compatible with Christie's Real Color Management (RCM)
software. Users can target and match the displayed color to specific
gamma curves and reference monitors for picture-perfect presentation
and real-life images.
Compatible with a broad spectrum of analog and digital video and
data inputs with a range of optional interface cards including DVI-D,
SDI and HD-SDI formats to interface perfectly with the latest source
players and receivers. Network connectivity is available through
ChristieNET
™
to attach the LW40U to any network to monitor lamp
life, projector temperature and other vital functions for full control
and monitoring for preventative maintenance in real time.
