Christie Digital Systems Projectors
World's Brightest Native 16:9
High Performance Projector
Christie's LW40 is the world's first native 16:9 high brightness
projector, perfect for cinema advertising and alternative content
applications. The LW40 builds on the proven success of the
RoadRunner L6 projector, with additional custom features for the
cinema environment.
The LW40 provides a native 16:9 aspect ratio and an incredible
4,000 ANSI lumens brightness from a dual-lamp light engine for
bright, high-resolution images. The native 16:9 WXGA panel
provides 44% more pixels on the screen than an XGA resolution
projector displaying 16:9 content. The latest 3D digital video
processing produces sharp video images from analog and digital
sources, 90% brightness uniformity and a 900:1 contrast ratio take
your image presentation to the next level. The lens mount provides
up to 12
°
horizontal image offset which provides a perfectly square
image in standard cinema configurations with offset projection port
locations. The LW40 provides excellent balance of performance and
value for your largest cinema screens.
The dual lamp design of the LW40 offers the choice of projecting
4,000 ANSI lumens for bright large screen images, or 2,400 ANSI
lumens in single-lamp mode to automatically extend the lamp life
and provides built-in redundancy for fail-safe operation.
Feature-rich and supported by a full suite of optional lenses
and accessories, the LW40 is compatible with Christie’s new Real
Color Manager (RCM) software. Users can target and match the
displayed color to specific gamma curves and reference monitors
for a picture-perfect presentation and real-life images. When
displaying computer presentation the image can be displayed
centered on the screen in pixel-perfect XGA (1024x768) wide
without changing the zoom lens or cropping the image height.
The LW40 is compatible with a broad array of analog and digital
video and data inputs with a range of optional interface cards,
including advanced DVI-D, SDI and HD-SDI formats to interface
perfectly with the latest source players and receivers. Network
connectivity is available with ChristieNET
TM
to attach the LW40 to
any network allowing you to monitor lamp life, projector
temperature and other vital functions, giving you full control and
monitoring for preventative maintenance in real time.
